Access and recover the password
Storyboard
To access the reserved functions of the Druyd tool, it's necessary to have an active account and log into the system.
Once the account has been created and activated, you must proceed to recover the password in order to access the system.

Existence of a current account
Concept
To access the special features of the system, you need to have an active account in the Druyd system. To do this, you must be enrolled in one of the offered courses or be a subscriber to the page.
If you're unsure whether you have the service, you can try to recover your password following this guide. During this process, the system will indicate if you don't have an account or if it's not active.

Access the gphysics.net page
Concept
To access the page, simply enter the domain name in the browser's address bar:
gphysics.net
The system will recognize this and switch to the more secure access mode, indicated by the 'https' protocol instead of the simple 'http':

Change the language
Concept
If the system is working in a language that is not your preference, you can switch to one of the available variants using the selector in the top right corner:

Access the recovery function
Concept
To recover your password, you need to access the login dialog by clicking the button located at the top left. Once the login dialog appears, navigate to the solitary field at the bottom under the heading 'Password Recovery'. Enter the email associated with your account and click the password recovery button.

If the email is incorrect
Concept
If the email is not found, the system will respond indicating that it is not in the database. This could be due to:
• Misspelling of the email.
• Being registered with another email.
• Not being registered in the system.
If you don't have an active account, you should either create one or update it to ensure it is valid.

Sending email with key
Concept
If the system recognizes you, it will send you an email with a code to modify or establish your password. Simultaneously, the page will switch to the mode for entering the new password.
The email is sent via a Gmail account named 'druyd.contact', which is only used for this type of communication, so it doesn't make sense to send an email to this recipient.
The email contains a six-letter and/or number code that is used to reset the password.
Your browser may interpret the email as advertising, so if it doesn't appear in your inbox, please check your spam or junk folders.

Enter data
Concept
Once you have the recovery code sent to your email, you should enter:
• The email associated with the account (the same one you requested the code with).
• The code contained in the email (ideally, copy it from the email to avoid mismatch).
• The new password, which must have at least 8 characters, including letters, numbers, and/or symbols.
Finally, click on the 'Set Password' button.

Possible errors
Concept
There are three situations in which the system will not proceed to modify the password, depending on the information entered in the three required fields:
• The email does not exist in the database or is not associated with the entered recovery code. Therefore, it is essential to enter the same email used to request the recovery code.
• The recovery code is incorrect. Copy the code from the email to avoid transcription errors.
• The password is not at least 8 characters long, consisting of letters, numbers, and/or symbols.
After the objection, you can re-enter the information and try again to modify or define the password.

Password creation confirmation
Concept
After modifying or setting the password, the system confirms it and displays the dialog window to log in.
Enter your email again, along with the password and the duration for which the cookie is retained.

Definition of the cookie time when logging in
Concept
A cookie is a record that the program creates on the computer where the login is being performed, registering under the domain of the page the date and time when the login operation was carried out.
In addition to the date and time, the cookie stores the retention time selected upon login. The system uses this time each time there is interaction with a page on the domain. It blocks access if the time elapsed since the last interaction is greater than the retention time.
If the time elapsed since the last interaction is less than the retention time, the system allows interaction and updates the cookie to reflect the new date and time of interaction, which will be used in the next interaction with the system.
Access being blocked requires that the login process be performed again to continue working with the system.
Therefore, it is recommended that if you are working on a system to which only you have access, you can choose a long time such as months or even a year. If it is a public device that can be used by others, choose the minimum time (1 hour) so that if you forget to log out, the system will block access to your account shortly.
The retention time is stored in the cookie written on the system, so it is specific to the device in question.

Login to the system
Concept
After entering:
• The email associated with the account
• The current password of the account
and selecting:
• The cookie retention time
the system establishes the connection, displaying the user's name at the top left of the page.
It's important to note:
Only one user can be connected at a time. Any new login will deactivate the previous connection.

Display the username and role of the cookie
Concept
If you log in and while you're connected, the system will display your name in the upper left corner. The connection remains active until you log out or the time elapsed since the last interaction with the system is less than the cookie retention time.
This applies both during the same session and in a new session. In other words, if you have selected a connection time of one month, you can turn off the device, and when you turn it back on, if you access the page within a time period shorter than a month from the last time you logged in, the system will still remember you, and there will be no need to log in again.

Using the Bookmark to log in
Concept
If at any point the communication is interrupted and/or the system is shut down without automatically restoring the session with the logged-in user, press the gphysics logo on the top left corner. The system will locate the last valid cookie and restore the connection:

Logout
Concept
If you want to ensure that no one accesses your information after you've finished using the device, you can log out using the button of the same name on the top left side.
This action resets the cookie, making it expired, and therefore, any future operations will not grant access to your account.
