Title
If the concentration of water vapor is higher outside the soil, it will diffuse towards the inside. Otherwise the diffusion will reduce the humidity inside the soil. Additionally, a part of the steam will be absorbed by the grains and between them, due to capillarity, water will accumulate between the grains.
