Storyboard

Models the reduction in the range of available joint motion due to physical causes: increased tissue stiffness (high k), capsular contracture, adhesions or muscle retraction. It is distinguished from musculoskeletal pain (A3) in that the limitation is kinematic (physical impossibility of reaching the angle), not algesic. The gap between passive and active ROM guides whether the deficit is tissue or muscle.
