Storyboard

It models alterations in ventilatory mechanics as deviations from the normal parameters of the E8 model: increased resistance of the airways (obstructive pattern), reduced lung compliance (restrictive pattern), or weakness of the respiratory muscles (component of E2 applied to the diaphragm and intercostals). The model allows us to quantify the severity and guide the re-education strategy.
