It models quantifiable deviations from the normal kinematic and kinetic pattern of gait. The normal parameters of E1 (kinematics), E3 (joint power) and E7 (stability) are used as a reference: any significant deviation from these values constitutes a disorder. The model allows classifying the type of alteration, its magnitude and its functional impact.
