D6 High Frequency Audiometry and Ototoxicity Monitor
Title
Instrument: high frequency audiometer (4-20 kHz). Detects early loss in the cochlear base due to ototoxicity (cisplatin, aminoglycosides, furosemide) before the conventional audiogram (0.25-8 kHz) is altered. ASHA criterion: change >= 20 dB at 1 frequency or >= 10 dB at >=2 frequencies.
