Storyboard

It models the forest or agricultural canopy as a physical system: radiation interception (Beer-Lambert at community scale), the microclimate within the canopy (temperature gradients, VPD and CO), and integrated whole-canopy photosynthesis (GPP). The canopy is the physical interface between the atmosphere and vegetation at the ecosystem scale, and determines the microclimate of the understory and soil.
