Storyboard

It models the aerodynamic forces of the wind on the plant: the drag force on the crown, the overturning moment on the tree, the logarithmic velocity profile within the canopy, and the aerodynamic reconfiguration of the flexible crown. Wind is an agent of mechanical damage, favors gas exchange (reduces r_a), vector of pollen and seed dispersal, and a signal of development (thigmomorphogenesis).
